BBL PHOTOFACIALs

Broad Band Light (BBL) laser is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses a broad spectrum of light to improve skin tone and texture, reduce signs of aging, and address a variety of skin concerns such as age spots, sun damage, and rosacea. The light penetrates the skin and targets specific pigments, causing them to break down and eventually fade. BBL is appropriate for Light to Medium skin tones, Fitzpatric types 1-4.

Benefits of BBL laser treatment include reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improved skin texture and tone, reduced pigmentation, and a more even complexion. Additionally, with BBL HERO (High Intensity Rapid Output) this treatment can be used on many areas of the body, including the face, neck, chest, and hands. Treatments to body areas are faster than ever before- some areas as little as 5 minutes!

Prior to treatment, it is important to avoid sun exposure and to avoid any topical products that may cause sensitivity or irritation, such as retinoids, acids or prescription topicals. The skin should be clean and free of any makeup or lotions or artificial tanners before treatment.

After treatment, the skin may be slightly red and sensitive, similar to a sunburn. Hyperpigmentation may rise to the surface and microccrust taking on a 'bronze' or "peppered" appearance. This microcrusting is a normal and expected response and will flake off and resolve usually in 7-10 days. It is important to avoid sun exposure and to apply sunscreen regularly for several days following the procedure. Most individuals will begin to see results within a few weeks of treatment, with continued improvements over time. For best results a series of treatments is recommended with each treatment spaced about 4-6 weeks apart.

BBL is also perfectly paired with MOXI this dynamic duo provides patients with even better results.

Overall, BBL laser treatment is a safe and effective treatment for improving the appearance of the skin.
